Who we are
The Landlord Almanac is operated by Zac Wakeman, a sole trader based in East Sussex, UK. We are the data controller for the information described here. We're registered with the ICO before we collect a single email — the registration reference will appear here once it's in place. Contact: hello@landlordalmanac.co.uk.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you request the free Compliance Calendar.
- Your marketing preference — whether you ticked the optional box to receive ongoing updates.
- Basic analytics — the source link you arrived from (so we know which channels work) and standard email engagement (opens/clicks).
Why, and our lawful basis
- To send you the calendar you requested — this is the service you asked for.
- To send ongoing rule-change updates — only if you ticked the optional consent box. Lawful basis: your consent. You can withdraw it anytime via the unsubscribe link in any email.
- We will not add you to marketing emails just because you downloaded the calendar. The two are separate on purpose.
Who processes it
We use MailerLite to store the list and send emails (they act as our data processor). We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, after which we remove it within 30 days (bar anything we must retain by law).
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data, or object to its use, at any time — email us. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

The site uses only what's essential to work. If we add analytics cookies, we'll ask first.
